Open edition

The Open Edition (not signed) is produced as a high-quality fine art photo print on carefully selected premium paper. Each print is marked on the artwork itself with the stamp “Open Edition by Martin Thaulow.”

Prints are made with the finest quality inks, ensuring strong colour and detail. Compared to standard poster prints, Open Editions offer much greater depth, richness, and longevity. Open Editions are unlimited in number and are intended as accessible, decorative prints for personal enjoyment.

Authenticity Note

Open Editions are not part of a numbered series and carry no certificate. Each print is stamped directly on the artwork with “Open Edition by Martin Thaulow” as a mark of authenticity.

5 signed - Limited edition

Museum edition

The Museum Edition (limited to 5 prints, each signed by Martin Thaulow) is produced as an exclusive archival pigment print on premium museum-grade paper. Each print is individually signed, numbered, and embossed in the paper with the official mark “Museum Edition by Martin Thaulow.” This embossing appears discreetly in the corner of the artwork and is part of the piece itself.

Prints are made with pigment-based inks that are lightfast, ensuring exceptional depth, detail, and longevity. Only 5 prints will ever be produced of each artwork, plus 1 Artist’s Proof (AP) retained by the artist as reference. Once sold out, no further prints will be made. Each Museum Edition comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

What is an archival pigment print?

An archival pigment print is a museum-quality fine art photograph created with pigment-based inks on acid-free, premium paper. This process guarantees colours and tones that last for generations. (Sometimes also referred to as a giclée print, this technique is the international standard used by galleries and museums when producing collectible fine art editions.)

Collector’s Note

In addition to the 5 signed prints, each edition includes 1 Artist’s Proof (AP). An Artist’s Proof is a reference print kept by the artist and is not part of the numbered edition. It serves as the standard for the edition’s quality and authenticity.
